Maria completed first 8okm on Deano a PBA chesnut gelding. Well Done !
Yes its me riding my youngster Grace aka Heritage Messalina at her first competive ride possibly the only time I have ridden this year. Dan rode Sue Broughtons Island Prospero (Dink)who we had been training since 2007 . Dink the brother of Island Columbus ( Ben ) my horse and we just did the 40km Nov around the Vale of Belvoir.
This is wonderful route takinng in the national route the Jubilee Way through the Belvoir Estate woods along the west way to taking panorama that is the Vale of Belvoir including the historic Belvoir Castle .
The route then follows through the vale villages with some lovely long canters along headland before heading back up a climb to the venue Piper Hole Farm .
