ANNUAL GROUP AWARDS PRESENTATION
The buffet supper is again being provided by Ann Lane of Cresswell Caterers at a special discounted price to our Group of £ 5.50 per person but this must be ordered in advance.
If you wish to purchase a supper ticket(s) please complete the tear off slip on the notice which members should have already received. Return this slip to or alternatively contact: Sharon Davison, H/B Mary Marsh, Sawley Bridge Marina, Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire NG10 3AE, together with your remittance and an SAE for return of ticket(s) by WEDNESDAY 7TH JANUARY 2009 at the latest.
The Rudolph Ride which was due to take place on Sunday 14th December 2008 has been cancelled.
This decision was taken owing to the adverse ground conditions.
The route was ridden at the weekend and checked again yesterday. In places there are deep ruts (probably caused by off road vehicles) and it is extremely muddy and slippery. Also the lanes were described as lethal after a hard frost which lasted until midday.
We will be reporting the abuse of the bridleway to the appropriate authorities.
Thank you to everyone who had entered to support the Group. All riders will be contacted to ensure that they are aware that the ride is not going ahead.
It would not have been much fun.
We hope to reschedule this ride in 2009.
Cheques payable to Leics & Rutland EGB Group

CLOSING DATE: 11TH DECEMBER 2007
